The
selections below are rough sketches performed and produced crudely in an effort
to get the musical concept into a form that could be understood by others. This
music is conceived from a spiritual point of view without any commercial intent.
I think of them as little prayers for all to share in. I invite improvising
musicians who enjoy this music, to play it and record it. I would love to hear
this music performed and produced by others who have the resources and skills
beyond my own.
-
- Simple
melodic ideas wrapped in rhythmic and harmonic environments that I find
interesting. All the music was composed using a process I call 'layered
improvisation" where each part is recorded one by one while improvising
over the previous parts. Editing is limited to expanding short improvised
rhythm sequences into final arrangements prior to the melodic parts.
